Dedicated People

People are dedicated to their workouts.....yesterday was definitely proof of that.

96 degrees....hot, humid Georgia day in July....where do I want to be? A pool, the lake, anywhere with AC or some cool water I can jump in! Anywhere, except a gym with no AC making myself even more miserable than i already am.

There are a lot of people out there who aren't like ol' Josh! These folks came in like soldiers and did their workout, even though the temperature inside was slightly cooler than outside but with very little air moving so the temperature difference was nullified. Crazy people!

Im proud of those people but don't really care to be one of them! It doesn't hurt my feelings to have to miss a workout on occasion! Glad to know there are some troopers out there though!

Hi Josh,
I worked out for 3 hours yesterday. It was quite hard to get in but afterwards I felt good. It is funny how we as humans dont want to work out even though we know we are going to feel better and healthier afterwards. I think I am going to invent some mechanical mechism that automaticly puts people through the fist 10% of a workout, after the first 10% the heart is moving, the blood is moving and the fatigue lifts...
just a thought... what do you think?

I have a good friend who is a doner. she mentioned your blog and I wanted to say hi and send some encouragement. I cant completely relate to the psycological effects from something like this... but on the other hand, I have had irrational thoughts/feeling that I thought were real. (through tough times)
As a child I was in and out of hospitals all the time.
I want you to know...I feel that guilt should not be a factor. dont worry. Guilt is not an effective feeling for the future! :)
Hope have a nice day,
Paul
